One of our favorite things to do every summer is play in the fountains at Bicentennial Mall. I love that there's plenty of shaded seating for me while watching the girls play and the girls love that they can choose to wade in the water, play in the fountains or both. Like the spraygrounds around town, this is a low-stress water play if your children aren't adept swimmers.
Last year we played on the huge map of TN during a break from the water play and we'll probably do that again this year, since it's a prime geography lesson without feeling like learning!
Anna has camp until noon this week, so we'll bring a picnic lunch for the girls to eat at 12:30 and then they can play. Let me know if you can join us this Friday, July 24 at 12:30 and if you need more detailed directions than provided by the link above!
