What's a Fun Jar?

As an introvert mom to three (mostly) extroverted daughters, the Fun Jar is both a way to keep me accountable in having social interactions all summer and a way to make sure we actually do the many fun things available to us in the Nashville area!

Each year, the girls and I make a list of fun things we want to do over the summer. Then we cut the list up, put it in a jar and pull something out of the jar every Sunday. Whatever comes out of the jar is our activity for that week. This summer, we'll be mostly having our FUN on Fridays, but there will occasionally be a week where we'll want to do more than one thing.

If you subscribe to this blog, you'll get an e-mail letting you know anytime we've scheduled some upcoming fun. If you know you'll be joining us, you can leave a comment and I'll know to expect you!

Between now and summer, I'll put up a few posts on some of the items in our Fun Jar and why they recur every year.

We hope you'll join us on some of our summer adventures!

Okay, I think I can figure out how to subscribe. Ford is going to playschool on Tu and Th this summer, so we'll be able to join you! YAY!
