Friday, May 22 Fun

With school ending this Thursday, I thought it might get the ball rolling to have a fun jar activity this Friday. We are leaving Saturday morning to go to the beach, so I think something easy is my best option.

For anyone who's available, let's meet at Centennial Park at 11:00 to play. I am thinking the playground to the right of the Parthenon as you face it from West End. We'll bring a picnic lunch and plan to play until 1:00 or so, when I'll need to head home to finish cleaning and packing. There are picnic tables nearby and if we want to walk over and look at the Parthenon Frieze, we can. (This is probably more interesting to me than most people since I was an art history major. If we spend the whole time playing at the playground, I will not be offended!)

Right now the weather calls for isolated thunderstorms, so I think we'll be OK weather-wise. My cell is 496-9995 if you can't find us or if it's raining and we want a back-up plan.

If you've subscribed to this blog via Google Follow, can you post a comment so that I know you received this? I just want to make sure it's working since I've not used this gadget before.

Happy Summer, everyone!
